LEGO Minifigures Harry Potter Series 2 (71028) — 1 of 16 in Every Bag! $22.35 CAD (43% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has LEGO Minifigures Harry Potter Series 2 (71028) at $22.35 CAD, down from $38.99 — 43% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD qualify.

Each bag holds one random figure out of 16: Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Fred, George, Luna, Moaning Myrtle, Griphook, Dumbledore, Professor Sprout, Neville, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Bellatrix, Lily and James Potter. You don't know which one you're getting until it's open, which is the whole point and also the main catch — duplicates happen well before you complete a set.

Every figure comes with at least one accessory, a few characters get accessories that hadn't appeared in the line before, and each bag includes a collector's leaflet. Around 8 pieces, so a 5-year-old can build it alone, and the finished figure sits fine on a shelf.

4.1 stars across 1,200+ ratings is normal for a blind-bag series — the gripes are about duplicates and not pulling the character you wanted, not about quality.

At $22.35 this is a buy-a-few-bags price rather than a collect-them-all price. If you're chasing one specific character, check what singles go for before gambling on random bags.
