Tapo Solar-Powered 360° Outdoor Security Camera Kit — No Monthly Fee, 2K Color Night Vision! $79.99 CAD (33% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Tapo Solar-Powered Pan/Tilt Outdoor Security Camera Kit (C610 KIT) for $79.99 CAD (list $119.99, 33% off). Prime members get free shipping; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

This is a wireless outdoor camera that runs on an included solar panel — no outlet and no wiring, so you can mount it wherever you actually need it. The camera records 2K/3MP, pans and tilts through a full 360°, and uses AI person detection with automatic motion tracking. At night, built-in spotlights let it capture full-color footage instead of standard black-and-white infrared. It's IP65 weatherproof for backyards, garages and patios.

Storage is the part most people care about: it supports a microSD card up to 512GB, and local recording works with no subscription and no monthly fee. Tapo Care cloud storage is optional. It also works with Alexa and Google Assistant, offers two-way audio so you can talk to a courier at the door, and includes customizable activity zones to cut down on false alerts.

The kit ships with the camera plus a solar panel and holder, extension cable, mounting screws, base cover and stickers — everything for a few-step wall install. Backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty.

One detail worth knowing up front: solar charging is optimized between 0°C and 45°C, so charging slows in deep winter, though the camera itself keeps operating from -20°C to 45°C.

For adding a wiring-free camera to the front or back yard, $79.99 is a better deal than buying a wireless camera and a separate solar panel.
