If you brew both espresso and pour-over, the usual headache is a grinder that can't go fine enough or coarse enough. This one covers 60 grind settings, from the finest espresso to the coarsest French press, and you can widen the range further by tuning the upper burr — no tools needed. At this price, few grinders span that range in a single machine.

The stainless steel conical burrs grind with minimal heat, so the oils and aroma in the beans stay intact. The precision electronic timer adjusts grind time in 0.2-second steps, giving a consistent dose instead of one by feel. The 18 oz (about 510 g) bean hopper has a locking system, so it's easy to remove, store, and refill.

The chute grinds directly into a portafilter, grind container, gold-tone filter basket, or paper filter, so grounds don't scatter across the counter. It's 165 W and 2.9 kg — solidly built for its class. It's a long-time top seller among electric grinders, with 5,000+ reviews at 4.5 stars, the kind of tool people rarely regret.

If you're still on a cheap blade grinder, or upgrading to settle the grinder question once and for all, $219.99 is a good window — it rarely drops below this.
