LEGO Lucky Cat 40813 — Waving Paw, 280 Pieces! $25.00 CAD (37% Off)

Amazon.ca has the LEGO Lucky Cat (40813) for $25.00 CAD (list $39.99 CAD, 37% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 CAD ship free.

280 pieces, buildable by kids aged 9 and up, and the finished cat stands a bit over 4 in. (11 cm) tall. The fun part is the paw: it uses a pendulum action so it waves back and forth like a traditional beckoning cat. Builders assemble the smiling eyes, whiskers, blushing cheeks, paw pads and tail, then choose whether the belly panel shows the gold-coin design or a written wish for good fortune.

Makes a nice Chinese New Year / Spring Festival decoration, a lucky desk piece, or a gift for anyone who likes cats and traditional decor. 593 reviews at 4.9 stars — about as clean a record as LEGO sets get, and it's well finished for a small set.

$25 is near the low end for this cat, which usually sits in the low $30s. Worth grabbing before the New Year.
