Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 — Half Price, Pressure Sensor + App! $124.95 CAD (50% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 electric toothbrush (HX9911/92, Aqua) for $124.95 CAD (list price $249.99 CAD, save 50%). Free shipping for Prime members; orders over $35 CAD ship free otherwise.

This is one of the higher-end Sonicare brushes. It ships with a C3 Premium Plaque Control head, which packs a dense, stiff cluster of bristles in the centre aimed at plaque and surface stains. Philips rates it at up to 1000% more plaque removal than a manual brush, and up to 100% more stain removal in White+ mode over 3 days (vs. manual brushing with a leading whitening toothpaste). It runs up to 62,000 bristle movements per minute, and Sonicare's Fluid Action drives fluid between teeth and along the gumline so those areas get cleaned too.

A genuinely useful feature is the pressure sensor: brush too hard and it gives a gentle vibration to ease off, which helps anyone who tends to scrub at their gums. You get 4 modes, Clean, White+, Gum Health, and Deep Clean+, each with 3 intensity levels, so 12 combinations to dial in a feel you like. Pair it with the Sonicare app and you get guided brushing plus tips and content tailored to you.

The brush head replacement reminder is another low-key win: it tracks how often and how hard you brush, then tells you when it's time to swap heads, which is what dentists recommend anyway. A full charge runs about 14 days, and a travel case is included.

One thing to note: it comes with a single C3 Premium head, so replacement heads are an ongoing cost down the road. It holds 4.2 stars across 2,500+ reviews and ranks #2 in Sonic Power Toothbrushes. At roughly half price, if you've been eyeing the DiamondClean tier or want to upgrade from a basic brush, this is worth a look.
