Bare patches in the lawn usually come from foot traffic, pests, or a dry stretch of summer. Resodding the whole yard is overkill for that, and this is made for the small stuff. The bag already blends premium grass seed, a slow-release lawn food, and a water-absorbing mulch, so you just shake it on and water.

What sets it apart is where it works: sun, shade, slopes, high-traffic spots. A tackifier in the mix helps hold the seed in place so it doesn't wash away, which is why it also handles hillsides. Application is simple: lightly rake the patch to clear debris, shake on enough to cover it, then water whenever it turns light brown.

One 9.1kg bag covers about 42.2 m2 (454 sq ft), roughly a typical front lawn. The brand ranks in the top 20 in the grass seed category and is a common pick in Canada. If you want to patch things up before winter, this discount is a reasonable price to move on.
