The appeal here is the form factor. It's an 11-inch 2K touchscreen with a magnetic keyboard that pops off to turn the whole thing into a tablet. The panel is 2000×1200 at 60Hz, rated up to 600 nits, with narrow bezels — comfortable for documents and video. It's fanless, so it never spins up or gets hot on your lap.

Inside it's a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage running Chrome OS. Used the way it's meant to be used — a dozen browser tabs, video, docs, notes — the rated 12 hours of battery is realistic enough for a full day of classes. Both USB-C ports are full-function (power and video), plus Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, a fingerprint reader and front 5MP / rear 8MP cameras.

The honest caveat: 4GB of RAM is this machine's ceiling. Android apps feel sluggish, and some owners report the keyboard occasionally registering phantom input. Its 3.8-star rating reflects exactly that trade-off — great concept, light-duty performance. If you need Windows software, heavy multitasking or video editing, this isn't the one.

Who it suits: students who live in a browser, a kid's first computer, or a lighter-than-a-laptop backup for travel. 128GB of local storage is generous for a Chromebook, so you won't be clearing space every week.
