LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie 42208 — 707 Pieces, Moving V12 Pistons! $49.97 CAD (38% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie (42208, 707 pieces) for $49.97 CAD (list $79.99, 38% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 CAD ship free.

It's aimed at builders aged 9 and up — or the adult who ends up helping. The finished car is 29 cm long in a teal colourway that captures the Valkyrie's aerodynamic shape. The signature gullwing doors open with realistic movement, steering is controlled by a knob on top, and under the hood sits a visible V12 whose pistons actually move as the wheels turn, plus a working differential that shows gear mechanics — this moving hardware is the best part of any Technic set.

At 707 pieces it's a build a 9-year-old can finish on their own without being over too quickly — good for a solid afternoon. When done you can roll it around or display it on a shelf. The LEGO Builder app adds 3D instructions and progress tracking.

It's rated 4.7 stars with 500+ reviews, among the better-received cars in this generation of Technic. LEGO rarely discounts, so dropping from $79.99 to $49.97 is roughly 62% of the usual price — a good spot for a birthday or holiday gift.
