This kit includes a solar panel and a 13 ft cable, so you can mount the camera and panel together or split them — put the panel where the sun actually hits and aim the camera where you need it. 45 minutes of sunlight covers a full day of use, and a full charge is rated for up to 180 days of reserve in low-light conditions.

One thing Canadian buyers need to hear: solar charging only works between 0°C and 45°C, though the camera itself operates down to -20°C.
