Extending WiFi to a yard, poolside or warehouse perimeter is hopeless with a regular indoor router — the signal won't reach, and the hardware won't survive the weather. This is an access point built specifically for outdoors, and it works indoors too.

On paper it's AX3000 dual-band WiFi 6: up to 2402 Mbps on 5GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4GHz, roughly 3 Gbps combined. The 160MHz channel with HE160 doubles throughput at peak times on a single stream, while OFDMA and MU-MIMO improve efficiency and cut lag when many devices connect at once — exactly what large outdoor spaces with crowds need.

Range comes from a dedicated high-power amplifier and professional-grade antennas, wrapped in an IP67 weatherproof enclosure that resists lightning, dust ingress, shock, vibration and moisture — so it holds up in rain and wide temperature swings.

For networking, Omada Mesh lets access points link wirelessly to extend coverage without extra cabling, and Seamless Roaming hands devices off between APs automatically so streaming doesn't stutter as you move. Power comes via 802.3at PoE+ or Passive PoE (adapter included), so one cable carries both power and data for flexible mounting.

Security includes WPA3 encryption, Captive Portal (SMS, Facebook Wi-Fi, Voucher) and 802.1x authentication. Management runs through Omada SDN, letting you administer the whole network locally or from the cloud via web UI or the Omada app. Typical scenarios: pools, outdoor cafés, amphitheatres, parks, school playgrounds, plus home yards, sheds and outdoor cameras.
