Electrolux 27" Laundry Pedestal — Raises Your Washer 15 Inches with a 3.0 Cu. Ft. Drawer! $149.99 CAD (50% Off)

Best Buy is currently offering the Electrolux 27-inch laundry pedestal (EPWD257UIW, white) for $149.99 CAD, down from $299.99 — 50% off. Orders over $35 ship free.

This is the accessory people skip and then regret. Front-load washers and dryers sit low, and bending down to unload a drum is real wear on your back — especially in a basement laundry room or next to a stacking kit. This pedestal raises the machine by 15 inches (38.1 cm), which makes loading, unloading and moving clothes between the washer and dryer noticeably easier.

The pedestal itself adds a 3.0 cu. ft. drawer, so detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets and spare towels live out of sight instead of piled on top of the machine. The drawer rides on Luxury-Glide rails that open and close with a light touch, even when loaded.

Dimensions are 68.58 cm wide (27 in), 38.1 cm high (15 in) and 67.15 cm deep (26.44 in), with a net weight of 22.86 kg. The white finish matches Electrolux's white laundry line. It is a 27-inch fit, so check your washer's width and door swing before ordering — pedestals of this type are designed to match same-brand, same-size machines.

It has 199 reviews on Best Buy with a 4.7 rating. At $149.99 instead of $299.99, you're paying half price to stop bending over — and picking up an extra storage drawer in the process. The sale runs until October 30.
