Canadian winters are exactly what this is built for. The WG460 clears a 12-inch wide, 6-inch deep path and throws snow up to 25 feet away, so you're not piling it up beside you with every pass. It's handiest on steps, decks and walkways where a full snow blower can't go.

A 40V brushless motor runs on the included 4.0Ah battery and charger, which WORX rates for a 2-4 car driveway on a single charge. The front handle is adjustable, the shaft folds away for storage, and the whole thing weighs 7.8 kg — lighter than it looks.

Worth being straight about the trade-off: it shines on fresh snow under six inches and on touch-ups, but packed ice or deep drifts still need a bigger machine or salt. Treat it as your everyday cleanup and edge tool, not a snow blower replacement.
