DEWALT 20V MAX Bluetooth Jobsite Speaker — 42% Off, Runs on Your Batteries! $98 CAD

Amazon.ca has the DEWALT 20V MAX Bluetooth Jobsite Speaker (DCR010) for $98 CAD (list $169, 42% off). Prime members get free shipping; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

One thing to get straight first: this is tool only — no battery, no charger. It runs on DEWALT 12V MAX, 20V MAX or FLEXVOLT packs you already own. If you're already in that battery system, this price is excellent; if not, factor the cost of a battery in.

Sound comes from dual 3-inch drivers in stereo with a bass reflex port, so the low end is fuller than most small Bluetooth speakers — it doesn't sound thin while you're working. Bluetooth range is rated at 100 ft, enough to leave your phone inside and carry the speaker to the backyard or garage, and two units can pair for true stereo.

The housing is metal grille over impact-resistant plastic, so tossing it next to a toolbox isn't a problem. There's a phone slot in the carry handle for watching something or taking a call, and a USB port on the back to top up your phone — on a jobsite that's more useful than the sound quality.

Note that it isn't water resistant and shouldn't be hosed down, so don't leave it out in the rain.

Ranked #18 in Portable Speakers, 4.6 stars across 10,000+ reviews, 600+ bought last month. $169 is the normal price; $98 is roughly 40% off, and DEWALT accessories rarely drop this far.
