Sony BRAVIA 7 II 65" XR70M2 — True RGB LED and 120Hz, Built for Movies and Gaming! $2,699.99 CAD (27% Off)

Best Buy currently has the Sony BRAVIA 7 II 65-inch 4K TV (XR70M2, model K65XR70M2, 2026 model year) on sale for $2,699.99 CAD (regular $3,699.99 CAD — 27% off). Free shipping on orders over $35.

The headline here is Sony's True RGB LED backlight: separate red, green and blue LEDs paired with RGB sensing that monitors each LED's output in real time and optimizes brightness, aiming for more accurate colour, wider viewing angles and smoother tonal transitions. At 65 inches it suits a living room with roughly a three-metre viewing distance, and holds up for both movies and games.

Dolby Vision handles highlight and shadow control, while XR Motion Clarity and the 120Hz refresh rate deal with fast movement — less blur watching sports or playing shooters. The panel is 4K Ultra HD, the set is ENERGY STAR certified, and there's an energy saving mode.

Google TV is the operating system, so streaming apps install directly and Gemini is built in. Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast are both supported for casting from a phone without extra hardware. PlayStation owners can stream console games straight to the TV via PS Remote Play.

Connections include four HDMI 2.1 inputs — enough for a PS5, eARC to a soundbar and a streaming box — plus Bluetooth for private headphone listening and an ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV) tuner. On audio there's Dolby Atmos, 3D surround upscaling, and Acoustic Multi-Audio, which uses height-positioned tweeters to align sound with action on screen.

Best Buy lists this price through October 23. Rated 4.6 stars across 172 reviews.
