TCL 55" QM64L QLED 4K Mini LED TV — 144Hz Native Refresh + QD-Mini LED (2026 Model)

Amazon.ca currently has the TCL 55-inch QM64L Series QLED 4K Smart TV (2026 model, built-in Fire TV) for $699.99 CAD. Free shipping for Prime members; non-Prime orders ship free over $35.

It's a QD-Mini LED set with TCL's new Halo Control System, and Local Dimming Pro adjusts the backlight dynamically based on what's on screen — deeper blacks and stronger contrast are the pitch. The panel is TCL's high-contrast HVA, so QLED color plus 4K detail is a clear step up from a plain LED TV.

At 55 inches with a native 144Hz refresh rate, fast sports, action movies and games stay clean with far less blur — that refresh rate is generous at this price. You get four HDMI ports plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and Fire TV is built in, so streaming works out of the box without a separate stick.

Over 400 people bought it in the past month, and it holds 4.4 stars across 117 reviews. For the specs, $699.99 is reasonable even without a discount — worth a look if you're shopping this size.
