De'Longhi La Specialista Touch Espresso Machine with Built-In Grinder — Pro Setup in One Machine! $799.99 CAD (38% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the De'Longhi La Specialista Touch semi-automatic espresso machine for $799.99 CAD (list $1,299.99, 38% off). Free shipping for Prime members; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

This is the higher end of De'Longhi's home semi-automatic range, and the point is that grinding, brewing and milk frothing live in one machine — no separate grinder cluttering the counter. The built-in Italian-made conical burr grinder has 15 settings, so single or double shots are always ground fresh, which keeps more of the bean's flavour intact.

For anyone new to semi-automatic machines, the standout is Bean Adapt: switch beans and the on-screen guide walks you through grind, dose, pre-infusion and brew temperature with live feedback, so you're not guessing. The 3.5-inch touch display holds 10 preset recipes (espresso, americano, cold brew, cappuccino, latte, flat white and more), plus 4 user profiles and 6 bean profiles.

Frothing is automatic — the steam wand matches 5 froth levels and 4 milk temperatures to your drink, with dairy or plant-based options, and there's a manual mode if you want to practice latte art. A proprietary Cold Extraction Technology bypasses the thermoblock to pull cold brew or iced espresso in under 5 minutes.

Versus a basic entry machine that ends up gathering dust, this one earns its keep through good guidance and saved settings — ideal if you want to put in some effort without starting from zero. The box includes a full barista kit: a precision tamper up to 20g, portafilter, two single-wall filter baskets, a dosing and tamping guide, a tamping mat and a stainless steel milk jug. It rarely drops to this price, so if you're upgrading a home coffee corner it's worth a look.
