Slopehill High-Speed Hair Dryer — 110,000 RPM Brushless Motor, Only 268g! $69.98 CAD (46% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Slopehill ionic high-speed hair dryer (Gray) for $69.98 CAD (list $129.99, 46% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders ship free over $35.

The headline is its in-house 110,000 RPM brushless motor, with an aircraft-turbine style impeller driving airflow up to 58 m/s, which cuts drying time noticeably versus an ordinary dryer. The motor sits in the handle, and the whole dryer is just 268g in hand, so your arm doesn't ache on long hair. A recessed air inlet helps keep hair from getting caught, and the filter is removable for cleaning.

For hair health it runs a constant-temperature system — a microprocessor reads the outlet temperature 50 times per second to avoid hot spots — and emits negative ions to cut static and smooth the cuticle. You get 3 speeds and 3 heat settings, an LED display, a cool-shot button and a memory function that recalls your last setting. Three nozzles are included. Hold the speed button for 7 seconds and the fan spins in reverse to self-clean the filter.

One thing to note: it's rated 2000W at 110V, so it's fine at home but you shouldn't take it to Europe. It ranks #10 in Amazon's hair dryer category with 4.6 stars from 6,000+ reviews. If you want to try a high-speed dryer without spending north of $100, this is a reasonable entry point.
