Bose QuietComfort Headphones — 24-Hour Battery, Multipoint! $249 CAD (48% Off)

This is the classic Bose QuietComfort, not the Ultra line, and it's about two things: noise cancelling and comfort. Steady low-frequency noise — a plane cabin, the subway, an open office — mostly disappears; flip to Aware Mode when you need to hear an announcement or a colleague.

Two things make it genuinely good for commuting. One is battery: up to 24 hours on a charge, and a 15-minute USB-C top-up buys another 2.5 hours if you forget. The other is multipoint, so your phone and laptop stay connected at once and calls switch over without re-pairing. There's a wired fallback too — the included audio cable with an in-line mic keeps them working even when the battery is flat.

You can tune the sound with the Adjustable EQ in the Bose app (bass, mid, treble), and bass is what this model has always done well. The plush over-ear cushions spread pressure nicely for long sessions, and it weighs 238 g with water-resistant construction.

Worth being clear about: it doesn't have the newest spatial-audio/head-tracking features — look at the Ultra or the newer flagship QC if you want those — and the plastic build and basic carry case are serviceable rather than premium.

Still, at $479 list and $249 now, it's close to half price. With 20,000+ reviews and 4.4 stars it's one of the most established picks in noise-cancelling headphones. The product page also shows a coupon — check for it before checkout to stack a little more off.
