If you rent, or your counter space is already spoken for, a stand mixer is a hard sell — you want to knead dough, but not enough to sacrifice half the counter for one job. This one lifts off its base as a hand mixer and clicks back in as a stand mixer, mid-recipe, no tool swap.

It's a 200W motor with 6 speeds, plus a dough hook, whisk and beater. The 3.5-quart capacity handles two or three loaves, a batch of cookies, or 500ml of whipping cream — fine for everyday home baking. Two bowls (one stainless, one plastic) mean you can run a sweet and a savory batter without washing in between. The lid has a viewing window so you can watch consistency without stopping, and the cover plate doubles as a bench scraper and dough cutter, which turns out to be genuinely handy.

The best part is storage: everything nests inside the bowls, and the whole unit is a size smaller than a conventional stand mixer, so it fits in a cupboard. Suction feet keep it planted at high speed, and the bowls and attachments are dishwasher safe.

The honest limits: 200W handles everyday dough, but high-hydration sourdough or four or five loaves at once will bog it down and heat the motor. 3.5 quarts isn't a bulk-baking capacity. This is a small-kitchen appliance, not a KitchenAid replacement. At $130.59 it's overpriced; at $77 for something that works both handheld and on a stand, the math changes.
