Samsung 27" FHD IPS Monitor, 100Hz with FreeSync — Canada Version! $123 CAD (35% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Samsung 27" FHD flat monitor (LS27D300GANXZA, Canada version) for $123 CAD, down from $189.99 — 35% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

The thing to get straight first: this is 1920×1080 FHD, not 4K. At 27 inches that means text edges look slightly soft up close compared with a 24-inch panel at the same resolution — but for office work, browsing, video and casual gaming at a normal viewing distance it's fine, and the lower resolution means even integrated graphics can drive it at the full 100Hz.

The IPS panel holds colour across a 178-degree viewing angle, so it doesn't wash out when you look from the side. 100Hz with FreeSync Premium makes scrolling and games noticeably smoother than a 60Hz office panel, and the 5ms response time is adequate without being esports-grade. At 250 nits it's a normal indoor-office brightness — don't expect it to fight a sunny window.

Eye Saver mode cuts blue light and screen flicker for long writing sessions. The three-sided slim bezel and thin body keep the gap small in a dual-monitor setup, and HDMI plus D-Sub (VGA) means older machines can still connect. It weighs 2.9 kg with the stand attached.

It's currently #1 in Computer Monitors with 460 reviews at 4.5 stars. At $123 for a 27-inch Samsung 100Hz IPS, you're paying barely more than a comparable 24-inch — if you just want a comfortable desktop screen, there's no need to spend double for 4K.
