JBL Tune 770NC Over-Ear ANC Headphones — 70 Hours Per Charge! $79.88 CAD (58% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the JBL Tune 770NC over-ear headphones in blue at $79.88 CAD (list $189.98, 58% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

Adaptive noise cancelling at this price is the headline. It adjusts to the noise around you, and when you need to hear something you switch to Ambient Aware — or hit TalkThru and voices come straight through without taking the headphones off.

Battery is the strongest number here: up to 70 hours, so at two hours of commuting a day you're charging every week or two. Five minutes plugged in buys another three hours if you forget.

Sound is JBL's Pure Bass tuning — bottom-end forward, which suits pop, hip-hop and electronic well. The JBL Headphones app handles EQ, button remapping and a music/video mode switch. Multipoint pairing keeps laptop and phone connected at once, and an incoming call pulls the audio over automatically.

At 232 grams with padded cups it stays comfortable for a few hours, and it folds flat into a bag. VoiceAware lets you hear yourself on calls so you don't end up shouting.

Two honest caveats: it isn't water resistant, so skip it for sweaty workouts or rain, and the plastic build feels like the price point it's actually at, not the $189.98 list.

That list price was always optimistic. At $79.88 you're getting 70-hour ANC headphones for the price of a mid-range set of earbuds.
