If your desk is cramped and your monitor is propped up on a stack of books, an arm is the most space-efficient fix. This one fits 17 to 34 inch displays weighing 4.4 to 19.8 lbs and supports both VESA 75x75 and 100x100 patterns.

It uses a gas spring and offers -60 to +90 degrees of tilt, ±90 degrees of swivel and 360 degree rotation for portrait mode, all adjustable with one hand and no re-tightening screws. The monitor can be raised up to 18.1 inches off the desk, high enough to stand and work.

Build quality relies on automotive-grade pneumatic spring cores, and Acer says it passed 20,000 motion tests and is 80% sturdier than typical arms, so it should not sag or wobble over years of use.

Mounting is flexible with a C-clamp or grommet option for desks 15–80mm thick, and the one-piece design installs in about three minutes with all hardware included. Note that wooden desktops are recommended; glass and thin desks are not advised.

It suits tight desks and anyone wanting better posture at the same time. At $39.99 it is inexpensive for a branded gas-spring arm, and Acer is a safer name than the no-name alternatives.
