A rolling garment bag is for anyone who has to travel with suits, dresses or formal wear. This one keeps garments hanging the whole way instead of folding them, and the padded roll bar inside holds longer pieces in place to reduce wrinkles — which is the main reason people buy this style. There are multiple interior pockets for folded clothes and odds and ends, plus a large exterior pocket and a smaller zip pocket for a laptop or tablet.

The wheels use sealed ball bearings for a smooth roll, and the patented PowerScope handle is airline-grade aluminum with multiple stops and a wobble-minimizing design, so it adjusts to different heights. A TSA-compliant integrated lock lets authorities open the bag for inspection without damaging it. At 13.4 lbs it's a large softside case — room for two or three suits plus a week of clothing.

What says the most about durability is the warranty: after registration, a lifetime limited worry-free warranty covers the cost of repair for damage from airlines or other common carriers.

It's rated 4.4 across 300-plus reviews and ranks #39 in Garment Bags. At $182 off list, and with garment bags rarely discounted, it's worth a look if you travel often or have a formal event coming up.
