[Worth Buying] Dyson Car+Boat Handheld Vacuum — 50 Minutes of Suction for Seat Crevices and Pet Hair

Amazon.ca currently has the Dyson Car+Boat handheld vacuum at $329.99 CAD — no discount at the moment, this is the regular price. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 CAD ship free.

Car+Boat is Dyson's handheld built specifically for car and boat interiors, not for floors. People buy it for one concrete problem: crackers ground into a child seat, dog hair embedded in the trunk liner, the stuff in sofa seams that no amount of beating will lift.

The 50-minute figure is measured on low mode without a motorised tool attached — expect noticeably less on boost. There are two power settings. At 1.91 kg it's light enough to hold overhead against a headliner without your arm giving out.

The three tools split the work sensibly. The Mini Motorized tool is a scaled-down motorised brush head for upholstery and pet hair. The Combination tool covers wide areas and switches to a brush for dusting. The Crevice tool reaches seven inches into gaps as narrow as half an inch — seat rails and cupholder slots.

Whole-machine filtration captures 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 microns, so what comes out is cleaner than what went in. If anyone in the house has allergies or you live with a cat or dog, that matters more than the suction number.

The honest caveats: the bin holds 0.14 gallons (about 0.53 L), so one full car interior is roughly one empty. Don't expect to do two vehicles plus the house in a sitting. And it isn't water resistant — no wet spills.

4.1 stars across 1,199 ratings, 1K+ bought in the past month, #11 in Handheld Vacuums. Among car vacuums the suction is top tier, and the two-year warranty plus Dyson's lifetime support means you're not on your own if something fails. At full price it isn't cheap, but this is the kind of tool you buy for the ability to actually finish the job.
