Whirlpool 24" 47dB Quiet Dishwasher — 15 Place Settings & Auto Open Air Dry! $999.99 CAD (25% Off)

Best Buy currently has the Whirlpool 24" built-in dishwasher (WDTS8024SZ) for $999.99 CAD (regular $1,329.99 — save 25%). Orders over $35 ship free.

It's a built-in model aimed at busy family kitchens and heavy loads, handling up to 15 place settings while running at just 47dB — quiet enough that it won't cut into a conversation in the next room. A stainless steel tub and insulation help keep operating noise down.

Cleaning uses Total Coverage Wash Action, targeting every rack, with a third level rack that carries 13 spray jets for bowls, mugs and utensils. The Intelligent Sensor Cycle adjusts wash time and water temperature to the soil level, while a 90 Minute Normal Cycle handles a full load fast and the Heavy Cycle takes on stubborn residue — and Sani Rinse eliminates 99.999% of food soil bacteria. The MaxTub design offers 7.25 cu. ft. across three racks, with an adjustable second rack that makes room for blender jars and pans.

Drying is the standout: Auto Open Air Dry automatically opens the door at the end of the cycle so fresh air in for better results, especially with plastics. Maximum Heated Dry uses heat pulses to raise the rinse temperature, and the Best Dry combination pairs both for dishes that come out table-ready. A water-repellant silverware basket helps utensils emerge ready to use.

Maintenance is minimal — a self-cleaning filtration system circulates clean water throughout the wash so you never have to clean the filter by hand, and a Leak Detection system flashes a light and drains automatically if a leak is detected. It's ENERGY STAR qualified at about 270 kWh per year. Dimensions: 60.64cm W x 85.41cm H x 67.01cm D, 40.37kg.
