Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 — Flagship Sonic Toothbrush Half Off! $124.95 CAD (50% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 sonic electric toothbrush (with 1 C3 brush head, Aqua) for $124.95 CAD (list $249.99, 50% off). Prime members get free shipping; non-Prime orders ship free over $35.

The DiamondClean 9000 is Sonicare's flagship line and usually runs $250+, so a straight half-off puts it in its historical-low range. Good timing if you're upgrading from a basic electric brush or trying a sonic model for the first time.

Up to 62,000 bristle movements per minute, using fluid action to drive water between teeth and along the gumline — per Philips' data that removes roughly 10x more plaque than a manual brush. It ships with the C3 Premium Plaque Control head, which has a dense, stiff center cluster for tackling stains and polishing.

The pressure sensor is one of the genuinely useful features here: brush too hard and the handle vibrates to tell you to ease off, protecting your gums. There are 4 modes — Clean, White+, Gum Health, and Deep Clean+ — each with 3 intensity levels, so 12 combinations total. Pair it with the app for guided brushing and habit tracking, and a replacement reminder tracks how often and how hard you brush.

One caveat: that "100% more stain removal" claim comes from a 3-day test in White+ mode with a leading whitening toothpaste — real results vary, so don't expect a single brush to whiten dramatically. Battery runs about 14 days per charge per Philips, and a travel case is included.

Brush heads are the ongoing cost — replace every 3-6 months, and C3 heads aren't cheap on their own, so budget for that.

At 4.2 stars across 2,500+ reviews it's a consistent performer in the flagship tier. Half off at $124.95 doesn't come around often — good moment to move up.
