Amazon.ca has the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wired gaming headset (PC / PlayStation version) for $229.98 CAD, down from a $349.99 list price — 34% off. Free shipping for Prime members; otherwise free over $35.
The centrepiece is the GameDAC Gen 2: 96kHz/24-bit decoding, with SteelSeries claiming 78% cleaner signal than the first generation. The DAC has two USB inputs, so your PC and PS5 can both stay plugged in and you switch with a button instead of a cable.
The tuning is on the Hi-Fi side — 30 ohm impedance, 20Hz–20kHz — and the parametric EQ in Sonar software lets you shape it yourself. 360° spatial audio works with PS5 Tempest 3D and Microsoft Spatial Sound, which is what makes footsteps and reloads directional. The ClearCast Gen 2 mic uses AI noise cancelling and retracts fully into the earcup.
Worth knowing: it's wired, USB into the DAC, not Bluetooth, and the whole set with DAC and cables has real heft on a desk. 4.0 stars from 998 ratings — most complaints are about those everyday details rather than the sound.
At $349.99 this is a considered purchase; at $229.98 it's near the low end of what it's sold for. If you want one DAC that handles two systems, or you're serious about positional audio in shooters, there isn't much else at this price with dual inputs.
