It's October in Canada and the first snowfall isn't far off. This one is corded: an 8-amp motor spinning up to 2,700 RPM clears about 300 lbs of snow per minute, with a 12-inch wide by 6-inch deep path — enough for driveways, steps and sidewalks in moderate to heavy snow. It throws snow up to 20 feet, so you don't end up with a growing bank along the edge of the driveway.

Being corded means unlimited runtime with no cold-weather battery fade, but you do drag a cord — Greenworks recommends up to 50 ft with 14AWG, or 51–100 ft with 12AWG; longer, thinner cords will sap power.

At 6.35 kg it's far lighter than a full snow blower, with an adjustable ergonomic handle that's easier on your back around steps and tight spots, and it stores in a garage corner. Greenworks backs it with a 3-year warranty.

If you're in a house with a modest driveway and don't want to fight winter with a shovel, this sits between a full blower and a manual shovel — cheaper, easier to store, and a lot less work. 4.0 stars across 1,500+ ratings and the No. 2 spot in snow shovels. Grab it at 32% off before the snow starts.
