Swap a couple of cushions on the couch and a new cover changes the whole feel — but the holdup is usually the insert: covers are easy to find, the right-size insert that won't go flat is the hard part. These are 18x18 in square inserts, a two-pack, with 115 GSM brushed fabric and siliconized fiber filling that resists going hollow. The cotton cover is on the softer side, and they work for both sitting and lounging.

They arrive vacuum-compressed, so a pair may look like one big pillow at first — that's normal. Toss them in the dryer with two tennis balls, or leave them in the sun, and they'll fully expand within 48–72 hours. For care, spot clean or hand wash rather than a hard machine cycle.

They rank around #173 in Amazon's throw pillow inserts category, with close to 100,000 reviews at 4.6 stars — the kind of staple people buy again and again. Whether you're refreshing the couch for the season or furnishing a new place, this price is easy to act on.
