GoPro MAX2 — True 8K 360 + Invisible Mounting, Two Cameras in One! $429.99 CAD (38% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the GoPro MAX2 for $429.99 CAD (list price $689.99 CAD, 38% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders ship free over $35 CAD.

MAX2 does two things at once: true 8K 360 video, and conventional action-cam shooting. The 360 part means you barely have to think about framing — hit record, capture everything around you, then "Reframe" later in the GoPro Quik app into standard clips, vertical or widescreen, all from the same footage. GoPro claims about 21% more usable resolution than the competition.

There's also invisible mounting: put it on an extension pole and the pole vanishes from the shot, giving you drone-like or "someone else filmed this" angles.

The lenses are replaceable optical glass with a water-repellent coating — if one gets scratched you swap the lens, not the camera, which matters out in the field. You get six mics, HyperSmooth stabilization and a 1960mAh Enduro battery. It weighs 390 g, with a 1.82-inch touchscreen and 29MP 360 photos.

In the box: MAX2 camera, 2 protective lens caps, Enduro battery, curved adhesive mount, mounting buckle + thumb screw, USB-C cable and a microfiber lens cloth.

At $429.99, down from $689.99, that's a $260 saving — a 38% drop, which isn't small for an 8K 360 flagship.
