🎉 史新低！LifeStraw Peak Series 1L Squeeze Filter — Drink Straight From the Lake! $42.11 CAD (32% Off)

Amazon.ca has the LifeStraw Peak Series 1L collapsible squeeze filter system (Mountain Blue) for $42.11 CAD, down from $61.95 — 32% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

It turns a bottle and a filter into one object: fill it from a lake, a stream or a campsite tap, screw the cap on and squeeze — drink straight from it or squeeze water into a pot for cooking. The filter removes 99.999999% of bacteria (including E. coli and Salmonella), 99.999% of parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), and 99.999% of microplastics along with silt, sand and cloudiness. That's one item instead of a bag of plastic parts and several bottles.

The whole thing weighs under 110 g and collapses flat into a side pocket when empty. The membrane in this generation was re-engineered and comes with a dedicated backwash accessory, so it handles silty water better than the older version and keeps its flow rate. Materials are twice as thick, rated tear-resistant and leak-proof.

Use it as a bottle, as a squeeze filter into cookware, as a storage bladder with the filter removed, or connect it to other Peak Series pieces. Cartridge life depends on water quality — a season of hiking plus a few camping trips is realistic.

Rated 4.4 stars across 657 reviews, ranked #8 in Camping & Hiking Water Filters, 100+ bought in the past month. Just over $40 for a reusable filtration setup beats buying bottled water every trip, and you don't have to gamble on backcountry water.
