LEGO Lucky Cat 40813 — Waving Paw Brings the Luck! $25 CAD (37% Off)

Available now on Amazon.ca: the LEGO Lucky Cat (40813) at $25 CAD (list price $39.99 CAD, 37% off). Prime members ship free; non-Prime orders over $35 CAD ship free.

This is LEGO's Spring Festival themed set — 280 pieces, for ages 9 and up. Built, it's a Lucky Cat figure standing just over 4 inches (11 cm) tall, a nice fit for an entryway, a desk or a shop counter.

The fun part is the paw: it uses a pendulum action to swing back and forth like a real beckoning cat, rather than sitting static. The details are all there — smiling eyes, whiskers, blushing cheeks, paw pads and tail — and the tummy panel can be decorated with either the gold coin or the written wish for good fortune.

Beyond a display piece, it makes a likeable gift — for Spring Festival or a birthday, for kids or adults who like cats or traditional decor.

633 ratings at 4.9 stars on Amazon, close to perfect, and still climbing. Against a $39.99 list price, $25 is a fair entry point for a seasonal set that tends to sell out or climb back to full price as Chinese New Year approaches.
