Ring Battery Doorbell 2K — Retinal 2K Video with 6x Zoom! $69.99 CAD (50% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (newest model, Speckled Gray) for $69.99 CAD (list $139.99, 50% off). Free shipping with Prime; orders over $35 ship free for non-Prime members.

Before you check out, look for the coupon — there is an extra 20% off promo code (RINGDOORBELL) that gets saved to your account and stacks at checkout, bringing it to roughly $56. Worth confirming the code is still live before ordering.

This is the new 2K version with a Retinal 2K wide-angle lens and up to 6x Enhanced Zoom, so you can make out faces or details at a distance. Two-Way Talk and Live View are both supported, and real-time motion alerts hit your phone right away. The built-in battery detaches with the included tool and recharges over USB-C, so you are not wiring anything permanently.

The catch worth knowing: recorded history and AI-powered alerts require a Ring Protect subscription (sold separately). Without it you get live view only. It pairs well with Alexa — launch video on an Echo Show, get custom alerts on an Echo Dot.

Wiring a doorbell is the hard part of the job, and this battery version skips it entirely, which is friendly for renters or anyone unwilling to touch the wall. It sits at 4.0 stars from 378 reviews, mostly dinged for the subscription. Over 3,000 were bought in the past month, so it is moving quickly.
