Best Buy is currently selling the Dyson Purifier Cool PC2 De-NOx air purifier and fan in white/gold for $599.99 CAD (regular $899.99 CAD, 33% off). Orders over $35 ship free.
This is a purifier and a fan in one unit. Filtration is a fully sealed three-stage system: the HEPA H13 grade filter is rated to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, while also handling odours and gases. Formaldehyde is destroyed continuously rather than trapped, so the filter does not simply fill up and stop working on it.

The De-NOx layer is the headline for this generation — Dyson rates it as capturing 50% more nitrogen dioxide. For anyone living near a main road or cooking with gas, that matters more than the PM2.5 number. In summer it works as a fan, with 10 speed settings, a remote and a timer.

It stands 105 cm tall, 20.4 cm wide and 12 cm deep, and weighs 4.91 kg, so it tucks against a wall without eating floor space. The MyDyson app lets you check air quality remotely, adjust airflow, set schedules and receive personalised air quality reports, and compatible voice services work too.
At 33% off the price lands at $599.99 CAD, which is uncommon for a machine that also breaks down formaldehyde. This promotion runs until November 20, a little longer than the usual window.
