CHUBORY F89 Drone — 84 Minutes on Three Batteries, Under 249g So No Registration! $119.99 CAD (46% Off)

Amazon.ca has the CHUBORY F89 quadcopter (4K wide-angle camera, three-battery kit) for $119.99 CAD — list price $221, 46% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free over $35.

Most drones under two hundred dollars are toys: video drops at 100 m, the battery lasts eight minutes, a gust takes it away. This one spends the money in the three places that matter — control range rated to 2,650 ft (about 800 m), brushless motors that handle wind far better than brushed ones, and three batteries in the box for a claimed 84 minutes total, roughly 30 per pack. You can shoot a whole outing without cycling chargers.

It weighs 147 g, and anything under 249 g doesn't need registration in Canada — no paperwork before you leave the house. The arms fold and there's a carry case, so it lives in a backpack.

The camera is a 120° wide-angle front unit plus a downward optical-flow sensor for positioning, and you can switch between them. Worth being straight about this: the title says 4K, but the spec sheet lists 1080p video and 8.3 MP effective stills. Real-world output is "good enough for social, good enough to scout terrain" — don't expect Mini-series image quality.

The beginner features are all there: one-key takeoff and landing, optical-flow altitude hold, follow me, trajectory flight, headless mode, gesture selfie, speed adjustment. Fine for learning, watching your property, or as a first drone for a kid. If you want footage you'd actually publish, save for a DJI.

One catch: the box has USB charging cables but no charger brick, so plan for that. One-year warranty, 4.8 stars from 137 ratings, ranked first in the remote-control quadcopter category.
