Anyone running two monitors knows the problem: a normal lamp off to one side leaves half the screens dim and throws reflections across the panels. This one has two heads on arms that extend to 31.5", rated to cover a 71" wide desk evenly. A reviewer with two 27" monitors found it covered roughly three-quarters of each screen — plenty for the working area in the middle.

The heads are essentially glare-free and don't leave reflections on screens, which makes long sessions easier on your eyes. CRI 95, so colour-sensitive work — drawing, sewing, crafts — doesn't come out tinted.

Five colour temperatures from 3000K to 5500K against five brightness levels (20%-100%) gives 25 combinations, all driven by a wireless remote. The remote is the only way to operate it, which you should know going in — one reviewer needed four or five tries to pair it the first time. There's a memory function that keeps your last setting, a 1-hour auto-off timer, plus dedicated night-light and reading modes.

The metal clamp grips desk edges up to 2" thick and keeps your desktop clear. Arms rotate 360° and fold 180°, the heads turn 270° front to back, so you can aim it wherever. 24W total, not much draw even at full brightness.

It's ranked #7 in the category with 3,299 reviews at 4.7 stars. The recurring complaint is that the remote is the only control — lose it and you're stuck — so put it somewhere fixed from day one.
