Govee RGBIC TV LED Backlight Strip (40-50") — Music Sync & 77 Scenes! $13.99 CAD (48% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Govee Smart TV LED Backlight Strip (fits 40-50" TVs) for $13.99 CAD (list $26.99 CAD, 48% off). Prime members get free shipping; non-Prime orders ship free over $35 CAD.

It's a single 7.8 ft strip that runs around all four sides of the TV's back — when you're watching a movie, a soft glow spills onto the wall, which is easier on the eyes for late-night viewing with the lights off. The RGBIC design controls each segment separately, so one strip can show multiple colours at once instead of a single uniform shade like older strips. The app includes 77 scene modes and 11 music modes, and the lights can pulse along with the beat.

You connect it through the Govee Home app over Bluetooth or 2.4G Wi-Fi, with support for Alexa and Google voice control. Note this model has no camera, so it won't capture colours from your screen — it's purely an ambient light. If you want screen-sync, go for the camera version.

At $13.99 — less than a coffee — the adapter and cable clips are all included, so you can stick it on and go.
