1. Hit-and-Run Driver Flees Scene of West Toronto Crash

Three vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run crash near Old Weston Road and Dupont Street in Toronto's Junction neighbourhood early Saturday morning.

Police say they responded around 6:30 a.m. to a fail-to-remain property damage collision, and callers reported the occupants of one vehicle fleeing the area on foot. Paramedics attended a collision and vehicle fire but did not transport anyone to hospital.

Roads in the area were closed for the investigation but have since reopened. The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

2. Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Sign in Pickering Construction Zone

A 22-year-old motorcyclist from Scarborough has died after colliding with an electronic sign board inside a construction zone on Highway 401 in Pickering, OPP say.

Police say the single-vehicle crash occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes between Brock and Westney roads. The rider, reportedly travelling at a high rate of speed, struck one of the electronic signs and was ejected, suffering fatal injuries.

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital following a stabbing in downtown Toronto late Friday night.

Toronto police say they were called to the area of Wellesley and Jarvis streets around 11:40 p.m., where they found a man in his 30s who had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

4. Man Wanted in Parkdale Washroom Sex Assault Turns Himself In

A man wanted in connection with a recent sexual assault inside a restaurant washroom in Toronto's Parkdale neighbourhood has turned himself in to police.

The incident happened Aug. 9 near Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue, when a man allegedly followed the victim into a washroom and sexually assaulted them before fleeing. The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Saurav Tamang, 22, of Toronto, turned himself in on Aug. 13 and was charged with sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 25.
