Shark AV2511AE AI Robot Vacuum — 60-Day Self-Empty Base, $300 Off! $399.99 CAD (43% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Shark AV2511AE AI robot vacuum with the XL self-empty base for $399.99 CAD, down from $699.99 — 43% off, a $300 drop. Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

The hardware list is complete: 360° LiDAR mapping that works in the dark, Matrix Clean running a grid pattern so each patch gets a second pass instead of a random wander, enough suction for pet hair on carpet and hard floor, and a self-cleaning brushroll that doesn't wind up with hair. Runtime is 90 minutes; when the battery drops it returns to the dock, recharges, and picks up where it left off.

The base is the reason to buy this one. It's bagless, and Shark rates the bin for 60 days of debris — no daily emptying, no proprietary bags to reorder. In the app you can schedule, set no-go zones and send it to a single room; it also takes Alexa and Google Assistant commands.

The rating needs saying plainly: 3.9 stars across 8,700+ reviews is not high for this category. Complaints cluster around app connectivity and mapping reliability, plus some dissatisfaction with obstacle climbing. How much that matters depends on your floor plan, threshold heights and Wi-Fi coverage — worth a skim of the negative reviews before you commit.

Over 400 units sold in the past month, so the price has clearly hit a lot of people's threshold. If what you want is a vacuum that empties itself and doesn't need babysitting, $399.99 puts this on the shortlist. If precise navigation is the priority, compare a couple of others first.
