KAWA Tiny 2K Dash Cam — Hidden Behind the Mirror, Voice-Controlled! $59.98 CAD (40% Off)

Amazon.ca has the KAWA Tiny dash cam (2K front recording, voice control, WiFi) for $59.98 CAD — down from a $99.99 list, 40% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

Parking lot scrapes and he-said-she-said intersections are common enough around here that footage showing a plate is worth more than a long explanation to your insurer. The point of this one is size: it tucks behind the rearview mirror where you barely see it, so it doesn't block your view or eat windshield space.

Front recording is 2K, enough to read plates and signs in daylight, and a separate night-vision noise-reduction pass keeps low-light footage steadier than the usual 1080p at this price. Voice commands — "take photo", "lock the video" — mean you're not reaching for buttons at highway speed.

Loop recording overwrites the oldest clips once the card fills; the G-sensor locks the current clip on hard braking or sharp turns so it survives. Parking surveillance needs a separate hardwire kit — without it the camera simply stops when you shut off the car.

WiFi to the phone app lets you preview, download and share clips without burning mobile data, and a 32GB card is in the box so it works out of the gate. 186 reviews at 4.4 stars.

One caveat the manufacturer puts in bold: use only the original car charger and cable. Third-party cables cause no-power, reboot loops and occasionally mainboard damage — and a random spare cable from the glovebox is exactly what people reach for.
