Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker — Room-Filling Sound in a 0.93 kg Body! $199 CAD (33% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Bose SoundLink Home speaker (Light Silver) for $199 CAD, down from a $299 list price — 33% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping over $35.

This is Bose's Home line, and it plays a different game from the outdoor-focused SoundLink models. No waterproofing claims, no drop ratings — the pitch is how it looks on a shelf and how easily it moves from bedroom to kitchen. At 0.93 kg you can carry it one-handed, and the anodized aluminum top with a fabric grille reads as premium without shouting.

Sound is the part you won't be second-guessing. A 21.59 cm cabinet with a dynamic driver delivers enough low end to fill a room — in a bedroom or study, six clicks of volume already feels like the whole space is singing, and vocals hold up especially well.

Bluetooth 5.3 keeps a stable link across roughly 9 metres, so walking from bedroom to kitchen won't drop it. Battery is rated at 9 hours and recharges over the included USB-C cable; that same port doubles as a USB-C audio input for a laptop, which beats Bluetooth when you're watching something. There's a built-in mic for calls and voice assistants, and two units can be paired into a stereo left/right setup using just the buttons on each speaker — no app required, which is more than most rivals can say.

Two caveats worth stating plainly: it is not waterproof (Bose lists Is Waterproof: False), so keep it out of the bathroom and off the patio, and it's built for indoor listening — for camping, look at the SoundLink Flex instead.

The $299 list price rarely budges, and $199 sits at the low end of what this speaker has sold for. If you want something small that genuinely sounds good in a bedroom or study, this is the moment.
