SHW 40" Mobile Electric Standing Desk, Maple — One-Piece Top, Drawer and Locking Casters! $199.87 CAD (29% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the SHW 40" mobile electric standing desk in maple for $199.87 CAD (list $279.99, 29% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

The top measures 101.6 cm wide by 61 cm deep, and at 40 inches it arrives as a single panel. That detail matters more than it sounds — smaller versions in the same line ship as two pieces with a seam through the middle, right where your keyboard goes, and plenty of buyers email support to confirm before ordering.

The motor travels from 28" to 45", and the controller has an LED readout plus three memory presets, so you drop back to your sitting or standing height with one press instead of holding the button. All four casters lock, which means it rolls to the window and then stays put; flat glides are in the box if you'd rather skip wheels entirely.

It's rated for 110 lbs, so a 27" monitor, a Mac mini and a mess of cables is nowhere near the limit. Underneath there's a cable tray, two side hooks for headphones and a bag, and a shallow drawer that handles pens, sticky notes and charging cables.

Longer-term owners tend to say the same two things: assembly is quick with clear instructions and screw holes that line up (a few spare screws left over), and the motor is quieter than expected — two or three metres away you won't hear it. The gripes are honest too. The maple finish is engineered wood veneer and shows fingerprints and wipe marks badly, and at full height a heavy monitor introduces a bit of sway, so standing sessions want a stable spot.

Three-year warranty. At $199.87 for electric lift, a drawer and wheels included, it's on the low end of what these desks cost.
