gonicc 8" Titanium Bypass Pruning Shears — Cuts 3/4" Branches, #1 in Bonsai Cutters! $21.95 CAD (15% Off)

Amazon.ca has the gonicc GPPS-1003 8-inch bypass pruning shears for $21.95 CAD, down from $25.95 — 15% off. Free shipping for Prime members; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

Eight inches, bypass blade, rated for branches up to 3/4 inch (about 1.9 cm). Roses, hydrangeas, small fruit-tree limbs, shrub shaping — that covers it, and fall is when you'd be doing the work. The body is drop forged with a titanium steel blade given an ultra-fine polish, so cuts are clean instead of tearing bark, which heals slowly and invites disease.

There's a sap groove machined into the blade. Prune something sappy like a conifer, or green growth, and the sap channels away instead of gluing the two blades together — no stopping every few cuts to pry them apart.

The handles are textured for grip and work in either hand, and the whole tool is 150 g, so a morning of pruning doesn't wreck your wrist. Some anti-rust oil on the blade out of the box is normal — just wipe it off.

4.5 stars from 32,000+ reviews, ranked #1 in Bonsai Cutters, 1,000+ sold last month. Fifteen percent isn't dramatic, but this one rarely drops and $21.95 is around its floor — a decent pair of shears lasts years.
