It's sodium percarbonate: add water, it releases oxygen, and the bubbling lifts soil out of the fibres. No chlorine and colour-safe, so it works on coloured laundry too — that's the difference from bleach, and it's why it rescues whites that have gone yellow-grey. Laundry, carpet, couch, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, floors.

For set-in stains, don't expect one machine cycle to do it. Dissolve in warm water, soak one to six hours, then wash normally. Reviewers describe the soak water going grey on clothes that had already been through the wash.

4.7 stars over 6,427 ratings, #1 in Laundry Stain Removal, 4,000+ bought last month. The scent is faint enough for fragrance-sensitive people, and a 1.36 kg bag lasts a long while.
