These are the decorative flakes you broadcast over wet epoxy to give a concrete floor colour and texture — one bag covers 125-250 sq ft. They work with one-part or two-part concrete coatings, and they help hide minor surface imperfections and dirt for a more showroom-like finish.

Sprinkle them onto wet paint during application for a permanent bond; they're waterproof and fade-resistant, so they suit garages, basements and porches. If your slab looks too plain and you don't want to fuss over colour, this is an easy way to dress it up.
