The moment the heat comes on in October, bedroom humidity drops fast — dry throat, blocked nose in the morning. This one runs a 3 L tank with 8 mist levels and up to 220 ml/h output, rated for up to 25 hours of continuous use. Overnight, that's roughly two to three nights per fill.

The genuinely useful bit is the top-fill design: lift the lid and pour, no flipping the tank upside down. The 360° nozzle swivels so you can aim the mist at a wall instead of your face, and it shuts off automatically when the tank runs dry, with an app alert so you're not guessing.

It's a three-in-one: the base takes essential oils, and there's an RGB light that works as a night light — a nice extra at this price.

Smart control is the main pitch. The app handles remote on/off, timers, schedules and custom modes; Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT are supported. If you own a GoveeLife thermo-hygrometer you can turn on Auto-Reflect to have it adjust humidity to a comfortable range automatically — note the hygrometer is sold separately.

Coverage is rated at 290 square feet, which suits a bedroom or kids' room but is undersized for an open-plan living area. At 22 W, running it all night costs almost nothing.

1,264 reviews average 4.2 stars, 1K+ bought in the past month, ranked 4th in Single Room Humidifiers. That 4.2 tells you it isn't perfect — the usual ultrasonic trade-off applies: hard water leaves white dust, so use distilled or filtered water and wipe the base regularly.

$89.99 is a high list price; at $42.99 you're saving $47, basically half off.
