Alienware AW720M Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse — 26,000 DPI, 140h Wireless! $132.35 CAD (17% Off)

Amazon.ca currently lists the Alienware AW720M tri-mode wireless gaming mouse at $132.35 CAD (list $159.99, 17% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping on orders over $35.

Tri-mode is the practical part: 2.4GHz through the included USB-C dongle at 1000Hz polling with up to 140 hours of battery; Bluetooth 5.1 for laptop days, stretching to 420 hours; or plug in the USB-A to USB-C cable and run it wired when you can't be bothered charging.

The sensor does 26,000 DPI, 650 IPS tracking and 50G acceleration — overkill for most people, but it means no dropped frames when you flick. It weighs 86 g, the shape is symmetrical for either hand with 3D-sculpted thumb grips, and there are eight programmable buttons with AlienFX lighting that syncs to other Alienware gear in Command Center. A magnetic snap charging adapter is included: leave the cable on the adapter and the mouse charges on contact.

Rated 4.5 from 310 reviews. If you're used to a 60-odd gram ultra-light, 86 g will feel noticeably heavier — worth knowing before you buy. On the other hand, the extra mass and symmetrical shape make it steadier for tracking and long sessions.

There's plenty of competition at this price; what sets the AW720M apart is having all three connection modes, RGB, and a two-year warranty. Full configuration needs Alienware Command Center on Windows — on a Mac it behaves as a plain mouse, so plan accordingly.
