Hisense 55QD6SF 55" 4K QLED Fire TV — Dolby Vision & Atmos, Fire TV Built In! $428 CAD (22% Off)

Amazon.ca currently has the Hisense 55QD6SF 55" QD6 Series 4K QLED Fire TV (2026 model) at $428 CAD, down from $549.99 — 22% off. Prime members ship free; otherwise free shipping starts at $35.

You don't often get a quantum-dot panel plus Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos together at this price. Hi-QLED gives noticeably wider colour than a plain LED set, and HDR10+ Adaptive with the AI Light Sensor adjusts the picture to the room, so you're not hand-cranking brightness every night in a bedroom. The 4K AI Upscaler also does real work on older sources — 720p variety shows look less mushy.

Fire TV is built in and the remote has Alexa voice, so Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ all live on the TV without a streaming box. Three HDMI ports, one with ARC, so your PS5 turns the TV on with it; Bluetooth 5.4 means you can watch the game on headphones without waking anyone.

Two specs worth knowing: the panel is 60Hz and Motion Rate 120 is processing, which is fine for hockey and F1 but not native 120Hz; brightness is rated 300 nits, so a bright living room with big windows will look washed out — a bedroom or a light-controlled room suits it better. At 9.3 kg it's a one-person lift, and the stand footprint is small enough for a dresser.

4.3 stars from 26 reviews, mostly praising the colour and how little setup Fire TV needs. One reviewer notes the built-in speakers are fine day to day but a soundbar is the upgrade. There's also a coupon on the listing — tick it before checkout.
