Acer Chromebook Tab 311 Detachable — Keyboard + Stylus Included, All-Day Battery! $349.99 CAD (30% Off)

Amazon.ca has the Acer Chromebook Tab 311 for $349.99 CAD (list $499.99, 30% off). Prime members ship free; otherwise orders over $35 ship free.

Three devices in one: pull the keyboard off and it's a tablet, clip it back on and it's a laptop, kick the rear stand out and it's a screen for video. 11-inch IPS panel at 1920 × 1200, 16:10, multi-touch. Inside is a MediaTek Kompanio 520 with 8 GB LPDDR4X and 128 GB eMMC, plus a microSD slot. The USI 2.0 stylus docks into a corner of the chassis, which is more than most detachables give you at this price. 610 g, 9.05 mm thick, MIL-STD-810H tested.

Battery is the honest selling point. Acer rates 10 hours; parents reviewing it report 8 to 12 hours with two kids using theirs daily, which means a full day without hunting for an outlet. 8,000 mAh with a 45W adapter.

It runs ChromeOS, so Gmail, Docs and YouTube work out of the box — fine for homework, streaming, video classes and browsing. The purchase includes a three-month Google AI Pro trial with 5 TB of cloud storage; redeem by Jan 31, 2027, a payment method is required, and cancel before the trial ends if you don't want it.

3.9 stars over 110 ratings, and the complaints cluster on the keyboard case: the rear connection feels soft, the kickstand is thin, and the closing magnet is strong enough to pull the case off the tablet. A few buyers hit Wi-Fi reconnect issues requiring restarts. Buy it for light use — homework, video, web — not heavy workloads.

A comparable detachable tablet plus keyboard plus stylus easily clears $500. At $349.99 for the full kit, this is where the price should be.
