Arctis Prime

Arctis Prime is SteelSeries' competitive-focused line: 32-ohm dynamic drivers tuned for detail separation, so footsteps, reloads and distant doors are easier to pick out in a firefight. The headband is steel and aluminium alloy rather than plastic, and the whole thing is light enough that long sessions don't leave a dent in your head. Noise isolation is passive, not ANC — it kills fan and AC hum but won't block a roommate talking.

The bidirectional mic is Discord-certified and comes through clearly to teammates, though a few owners say the input level is low and needs boosting in software. The 3.5mm cable detaches at both ends, so it survives being stuffed in a bag, and it works on PC, PS5, Switch and phone with no charging and no drivers.

Reviews skew heavily toward durability — one owner ran a pair for three years of abuse before replacing it. The counter-example: a reviewer had the right side fail after 18 months, so don't expect immortality. The cable also runs long, which takes a little tidying on a desk.

It normally sits near $120, so $78.87 is about as low as this model goes. If you want plug-and-play, no battery, no software, this is the price to take.
